You would think that a global e-commerce giant would have their wholly owned delivery as a subsidiary so this sort of thing doesn't rock them.
Technically they do. They hire out third party companies to hire workers and drive for them. Not sure if that negates liability or not but it definitely prevents unionization.
They will spin it off, but only after it's capable of competing with UPS & Fedex. That's why they created it in the first place.
