The only way I would support theft of living necessities is if the govt/city/etc made it illegal/impossible for you to obtain them on your own. For instance, not allowed to work, not allowed to grow food or own/build anything to provide for yourself. And if it goes that far then it is time for a revolution.

Yeah that kind of meal-missing poverty is only possible if the governments have their boots really far up everyone's asses, impeding their abilities to run their Side Hustles. In hard times, that's how folks survive, through having Side Hustles. In the times and places where the governments impeded their Side Hustles, people starved in droves.
