If I knew I was getting an empty box, sure this makes sense to plan in advance. But most people don't think a large merchant would be this shady and ship them an empty box.

From Amazon's side, I can see the hesitation to immediately issue a refund though. I'd say no upfront too because I'd want to investigate how that happened first.

Are you guys that dumb? Amazon doesnt ship 100% of packages from its site. There are thousands of items for sale that will never see an amazon warehouse. Sellers can list their items and sn themselves.

I'd be checking the packaging for signs of tampering. If you're going to ship something in a big box with "SONY" written all over it, some nigger is just going to decide whatever was inside is his. You can see that it was shipped in the "SONY" outer box as there is a UPS label affixed to that box :25, the dufus also managed to doxx himself by not having the ship to address blurred out. The shipping label also says 3lb at the top.

Ordering anything from Scamazon seems to be a crapshoot these days. Half the time you think you're ordering from an official listing, only to be shunted to a third-party seller at the last minute if you're not careful.

B&H might be run by a bunch of dirty yids, but at least they know how to ship expensive stuff in plain packaging, and there's no third-party bullshit.

advertise whats inside the box it will get stolen, i've never had an empty box but i have had boxes keep disapearing once they hit a specific location all due to the shipper advertising whats inside.

When I was in college my mom sent me a 50 dollar gift card for groceries. It took 3 months to show up. When I went to use it, it only had like 7 dollars and change on it.

Don't be lazy. Stop supporting Amazon. Shop at businesses in your area. Not only does it support your economy, you can open up the package in front of observing employees to avoid getting ripped off.

These cameras go to crazy prices. Wonder how much better it is than my A6000 for like 400 bucks. Anyways, just charge back and let the bank handle it I guess.
