They were just following the instructions in the rap songs.

I really dig how all the articles keep mentioning they exited from a WHITE nissan too. Really reaching on this one.

Edit: actually it wouldn't surprise me if they really hope speed readers mistake it as the shooters were white. All journalists need to hang.
