In my personal opinion, I think they will go down the same road I hear all other deeply indebted countries take. They print and print and print, until the currency goes the same way that Argentina did. Each politician thinking they can kick the can down the road just past their term, as they keep their wealth in land or other assets and destroy the dollar. Either that or some crazy strong conservative leader like hitler or putin comes along looks at the debt and just says "nope, not gonna pay it." The other countries and people go whaaaa? and the leader says "yeah, I got the biggest army, whacha gonna do? nothing, that's what."
