The people are not going to like the banks having the kind of control that we both know they will have with a centralised digital currency and a programmable one at that. So, what shit show do they have in store to misdirect, force, lie etc people into accepting this currency? I have a feeling this will be able to get a very large percentage of the population to accept this without to much of an issue. You run the fedcoin alongside the current system and incentivise people to take it up. Image a free 500 fedcoin per month on top of what you earn. The majority of people will eat it up.
