Pedantic nitpick here, but I hate how serious things are usually described using soft, playful, and lighthearted language. The article starts off describing it as a new computer “snag.” No, it’s not a “snag.” Jesus, a “snag” is something dumb and easily fixable, like when I accidentally yank the power cord out of my computer and have to reboot. A “snag” is not something that (supposedly) is causing a nationwide oil shortage. This is a disaster, a national emergency, a tragedy--not a fucking “snag.” Language and adjectives don’t mean shit anymore. Drives me insane.
<snag
My fucking notepad settings reset from word wrap to not word wrap and that's fucking annoying.
Agree. MSM is a joke. Does anyone realize how they could actually become a real journalist if they would just do their job? Same with jobs, people could create great lives for themselves if they would just "apply" themselves, so many opportunities.
