(((issues)))
Gotta make those red staters pay and break their spirit or else.
Pedantic nitpick here, but I hate how serious things are usually described using soft, playful, and lighthearted language. The article starts off describing it as a new computer “snag.” No, it’s not a “snag.” Jesus, a “snag” is something dumb and easily fixable, like when I accidentally yank the power cord out of my computer and have to reboot. A “snag” is not something that (supposedly) is causing a nationwide oil shortage. This is a disaster, a national emergency, a tragedy--not a fucking “snag.” Language and adjectives don’t mean shit anymore. Drives me insane.
<snag
My fucking notepad settings reset from word wrap to not word wrap and that's fucking annoying.
Agree. MSM is a joke. Does anyone realize how they could actually become a real journalist if they would just do their job? Same with jobs, people could create great lives for themselves if they would just "apply" themselves, so many opportunities.
>It said that the pipeline continued to operate.
>Our internal server that runs our nomination system experienced intermittent disruptions
The pipeline is still running with intermittent disruptions in the shipping request process due to server patches or whatever. That does not sound serious or worthy of national reporting.
Perhaps but somebody paid $5m to get the pipeline back on track and it appears not to be. Seems like a lot of money to get less than perfect function; but then summer is starting and why shouldn't gas prices go up for no other reason but it is summer?
These are most likely things they need to do on their side to harden their systems like restoring/patching servers during working hours and it's probably a 24/7 operation.
Having been in that position, it's not unexpected unless it persists.
This is planned and controlled
