I was waiting for the Novavax vaccine to come out so I could see if it was a safer alternative vaccine, as it only injected spikes, and didn't make your own cells manufacture spikes like the mRNA vaccines. Now this article says the problem is actually the spike proteins, causing damage to vascular cells. It's not a respiratory disease.

"In the new study, the researchers created a “pseudovirus” that was surrounded by SARS-CoV-2 classic crown of spike proteins, but did not contain any actual virus. Exposure to this pseudovirus resulted in damage to the lungs and arteries of an animal model—proving that the spike protein alone was enough to cause disease. Tissue samples showed inflammation in endothelial cells lining the pulmonary artery walls."

Angiotensin II acts on the central nervous system to increase vasopressin production, and also acts on venous and arterial smooth muscle to cause vasoconstriction. Angiotensin II also increases aldosterone secretion; it therefore acts as an endocrine, autocrine/paracrine, and intracrine hormone.

If you have too much angiotensin 2 because your ACE 2 receptors can't break it down because you have a bunch of spike proteins in the way, you get all the COVID symptoms.
