I just realized, why should gas prices go up outside the affected region? If anything, they should go down due to increased supply.
Agree, but this administration is trying to manipulate businesses/economy and do not understand how to run businesses. It is so obvious, they are behind this, as none of them have done anything but government jobs. The prices go up where there is lack of supply/gas because of price gouging. Southern states see this a lot during the hurricane season but it was reported all day yesterday. Over $5.00/gal but unverified.
The idea of price gouging is something pushed by government and its allies.
