The video of the train yard full of lumber taken by that general contractor a few weeks back offers the suggestion that it’s not just inflation, but also intentional holding back.

It's all part of the plan for the plandemic to bring the economy to a halt.

Fucking up lumber supply means that a significant amount of development (both residential and commercial) is halted, in turn halting even more business development than was already stopped via lockdowns.

intentional holding back.

yup

I wouldn't mind building a two-car garage for myself this summer, but no fucking way I'm going to do it if lumber costs five times what it cost last year.

I had the same plans last year and poured the slab over the summer. Now that I can finally get some time available for the framing, we are seeing lumber being gouged. Might end up doing it in steel instead.

I was just going to suggest looking at a steel building, especially if it's a detached garage.

Alaskan Sawmill and a aluminum ladder was all I needed.

Of course, the fucking jew middlemen in there to take(steal) their portion of the silver.
