"Coddle culture" needs to become a hot topic. It's a nice alliteration that sounds better than what the boomers and their descendants say, they call this the "participation trophy generation". As an adult, it's amusing for me to listen to older people bitching about how entitled or w/e they think is wrong with Gen X or millennials- I like to point out that "You raised them. They are following your example. You either failed to raise your child well, or you are no better than them, so shut the fuck up: we younger people didn't make this giant pile of shit, we were born into it, and now you fuckers need to step aside so we can start shoveling." Nowadays, you just need to coin a term that strikes a nerve in people, and launch it out into Twitter- it's like casting a stone into a lake. Except this particular lake is full of AIDS. Unfortunately (?), I do not have and will never have a twitter account, so alas, I am shouting into the void, and it will be mostly people who agree with me that hear me. It's all so... so tiresome...
