If they want more women to be employed at these places, maybe said women should be studying harder to become more capable? The thing is, even when a society encourages women to go into jobs like this, it actually makes it more likely they'll stick to a job defined by gender roles. There are of course outliers (I'm one of them in real life), but it's damn insulting to someone like me if they think I got a job just because I have a vagina, rather than because I'm capable at what I do. And I got my job because of capability, not because I happen to have the favoured set of genitals.
