I haven't looked into the cryptographical proofs for Monero, is it not like Bitcoin will be with Taproot where even though the inputs aren't necessarily known, the end result of a transaction is verifiable as the valid cryptographic output of previous inputs?
Then we are both lazy, so I will just armchair analyze/recall a previous conclusion to stay away from that glowing blockchain that is Monero. Sure, inputs and outputs can line up but I think there is a lot of 'mystery' about early allocations and air drops by and to god knows (((who))).
Sure, Taproot is promising tek since it is built on BTC protocol and by extension it's open blockchain but that leads to the same dillemma of who owns the BTC ... you can buy BTC with fiat so it was flawed from the beginning; destined to be in control of those who control fiat. We need not another technological protocol, we need balls and commitment to engaging in trade without the use of (((currency))) entirely.
