That’s the confusion though. As they point out in the article, it wasn’t a group for whites to find mutual support. It was so they could discuss how to bow and scrape better to the other races in the wake of the trial.

Exactly. Anything that would support a white person is wrong to them. Whether it’s subsidized tutoring or a homework group. Whites working together is wrong.
They need support that their nation has turned its back on them and betrayed them for building society and paying taxes. They need support for the coming all-out war against them as S. Africa policies land ashore and illegals flood over the borders to destroy and plunder. They don't need support from an outside source, they need to support each other through life going forward.
