The fact is I make not much more than I did 20 years ago and food has quadrupled at the least. My grocery bill for a full cart is almost $400 compared to $200 just 10 years ago. But in 2000 you could not buy a large pepperoni pizza for $5, and you can now. Because bulk foods are cheaper in bulk than ever. And while retail stores that your Mommy has been going to since she was a pregnant tween aren't the deal they used to be, there are other channels for getting food that are way cheaper because there are no nigger shoplifters to deal with.
