According to the actual law the charges and verdict seem correct. People seem to be overlooking this, the outrage shouldn’t be about the jury verdict it should be about the MN laws themselves which are totally whack.
Unintentional murder? Any death caused while committing a felony, but in MN a felony is any offense with a greater than 1 year sentence. So it’s basically up to the DA how much they want to charge because the charges cascade by default according to the law.
