Problem is that the scum usually doesn't stand to lose anything by their behaviour or actions, whereas decent folks may lose all..
In a confrontation you most likely won't have the time to assess your potential loss and therefore must be prepared beforehand.
You have to be prepared to be proactive to protect your ass; act, when it's inevitable and strike first.
Refuse to be the victim and be prepared to use the necessary force to prevent this and if you're not; prepare yourself to be a figure in the statistics......
