China's long standing Belt and Road Initiative between China and Australia (and other countries) is being challenged by Australia; Australia has cancelled two infrastructure deals with China stating the contracts were inconsistent with their foreign policy. China in 2018/2019 had blocked imports from Australia. The Belt and Road Initiative is China's multi-billion dollar expansion of trade from Asia to Europe involving many countries.
