By that argument (really just adding to it), coke has a b2b model, selling to other corporations who don't care about other companies virtue signaling. It's not like Fridays or Chilies is going to stop buying coke.
A 12% drop in customer purchases of coke (although they'll still buy Fanta, Sprite, Smartwater, and other Coke brands) will lead to a drop in purchases from those companies. They don't care about wokeness, but they're sure not going to buy soda that's not being used.
Doesn't mean we can't do our bit, though. Buy based and local.
