Do you mind me asking, how you went from Reddit, through the middle to actually becoming open to the jq?
Here is my story:
I was far left most of my life not because I believed it but it was the social norm.
Trump ran and everyone on the left went nuts. It was totally bizarre to me because I knew guys like Trump. They are weird for sure, but they are ALWAYS a very special flavour of good people. They are top sales producers and they only expect you be the best. If you meet their standards they will open the world for you. If you don't, they spit you out.
This is Trumps weakness actually, it blinds him to the true nature of Jared, Ivanka and the rest of the psychofants around him.
- Reddit and everyone online started to show they true colours, they were communists. Then I watches really really good people have their lives destroyed for not going along. Then I watched all the scientists, politicians and doctors lie about everything.
After that, basically everyone that I thought had status was a liar and a cheater. And I found that all the guys telling conspiracy theories REALLY BELIEVE THEM and they aren't lying to me. They are just telling me what they believe, usually very poorly.
After that, it was just a matter of sifting through the bad information from the good, and this is very easy to be honest. It's not complicated, and it's easy to understand the human animal, how it operates, see the patterns in the past and predict the future.
What was your transition like?
Similar, but much more recent.
I was mad that trump won. I believed the hype about the stolen election and the Russia collusion.
But the last 2 years I saw a distinct change. I've never been a "leftist", I've always followed my own sense of right and wrong. Trying to discuss things went from discussion to dismissal. Leftists won't even discuss contrary ideas. They won't acknowledge facts. They just shut down and continue believing their own bullshit because they are told to.
The blatant transparency of the last 18 months. The REAL stolen election. The covid propaganda. The absolute nonsensical state of the media. It's plain for anyone to see, but they refuse.
Right wing people will discuss things. They question things. That's potential for growth and understanding. Dismissal is not.
So now I'm a crazy racist nazi.

Have you experienced the dissapointment of becoming a crazy racist nazi that I have? I look around and i don't see any crazy or even racist people. I only see a bunch of nice people struggling to understand the world survive.
I mean, there are crazy and there are racist people on both sides.
You will get a section of any ideology who aren't smart enough to critically think, so they can't learn or grow. They only latch onto a thought and run with it because they are oblivious to the rest of the world.
Then you have the vast majority of people who just want something to be able to point a finger at so they can excuse all the self inflicted failings of their own miserable lives. Its easier that way.
Both detract from the real issues and both will drag you down to their level.
