For example when confronted with a subject that normally would be debated or discussed, if one was to offer up counter information they immediately would respond with a squint and a question of where that information came from. 99 out of 100 times they process it as fake information or misinformation because it wasn't on TV 🙄 and the debate would thus end there. There is no debating as it is a literal religious conviction, as you have stated. So, they have no ability to process new information that conflicts with their core set.
