they are trying to pass this kind of stuff in minnesota because they are saying it targets black people. well, they just cant pull them over is all. shit like too dark of time, tabs expired, tailight out, headlight out... you public safty things to alrert the driver about.

to which usually just results in a warning, and just get it fixed. anything more than that... like guns, gernades, piles meth & coke, pounds of weed they observe they will arrest you for, like illegal things

Imagine this logic applied to a system that doesn't involve humans (to remove the emotional component):

Person #1: "We need to throw out our water filter and just drink straight from the tap."

Person #2: "Why?"

Person #1: "We studied the chemicals that were filtered out of the water and it turns out that the activated carbon was removing more of some chemicals than others."

Person #2: "Aren't some chemicals more dangerous than others? Did you check whether the chemicals being removed were dangerous or whether the ones not removed were safe?"

Person #1: "That's not the point. The filter isn't filtering all chemical equally. We need to dismantle the filter system."
