I think if you are a person moving from a Blue state to a Red State, you need

  1. Assimilate with the state you are moving to

  2. Not be able to vote for 6 years after moving to said state

  3. Learn about the state history/natural laws/traditions Please feel free to add to this.

We need to protect our lands from the people who are moving to our parts of the country and then stupidly do the same things they did where ever it is they came from.

That would be much harder to accomplish. An easy workaround would be to ban new residents from voting for 10-15 years. That would fix a shit ton of our problems, including the left's tendency to import immigrant leftist voters.
