How do governments not understand basic economics?

(post is archived)

And how is the City of Long beach going to be colluding in that? You overestimate how many people can be let into a conspiracy without exploding it.

They don't have to know that they are part of it.

How do governments not understand basic economics?

What makes you think they don't? The whole point of this is to shut down as much of the private economy as possible to prepare for the "great reset."

They don't have to know that they are part of it.

Your thoughts are inconsistent. If the local government understands basic economics, then why would they be shutting down the private economy to promote the Great Reset if they aren't in on the conspiracy? They are as enmeshed in the local economy as anyone else. They would need to know that they were being protected in order to act against their own obvious best interests like this.

They genuinely believe that they are acting in the public interest for everyone's safety. Just look at how many people blindly taking the jab, they believe what they are told.

By going along at a local level they qualify for money from the federal level. The IMF have been applying international pressure by making emergency loans contingent on covid measures. No doubt central governments are pushing compliance to the periphery via funding.

they always believe they are protected.

You do too, its a default. You aren't safe, but you believe you are.

This allows you to function

You overestimate how many people can be let into a conspiracy without exploding it.

How would it explode exactly? There is no secret to expose, they openly publish their intentions.

Anyhow, they don't have to be in on some secret cabal to do what they're told. They just have to know that money and power comes from being obedient, and see the examples made of those who aren't.
