Yeah it's bullshit. Also, a taser is a deadly weapon, so you can only use it when it would have been acceptable to use a gun. Even if it was an 'accident' If I accidentally shoot a cop, do you think i can claim that i was going for a taser? No, it won't even be a consideration.
