I think I've figured out how this all works, now.

"Police said officers in the city of Brooklyn Center pulled over a driver they'd determined had an outstanding warrant just before 2 p.m. Police said when they tried to arrest him, he got back in his vehicle and drove away. An officer fired at the vehicle, hitting the driver."

Why shoot at him? Cops never shoot at a fleeing suspect, at least in my experience and memory. Hidden hands playing games again like OP suggests? Seems probable.

A police officer may not seize an unarmed, nondangerous suspect by shooting him dead...however...Where the officer has probable cause to believe that the suspect poses a threat of serious physical harm, either to the officer or to others, it is not constitutionally unreasonable to prevent escape by using deadly force.

— Justice Byron White, Tennessee v. Garner

Court records show Wright was being sought for fleeing from law enforcement officers and for possessing a gun without a permit during an encounter with Minneapolis police in June. In that case, a statement of probable cause said police got a call about a man waving a gun who was later identified as Wright.

If they had probable cause to arrest him for possession of a firearm, they would have every reason to assume that the firearm is still in play and that he could have retrieved the firearm when he returned to the vehicle.

You don't need a reason to kill a loose animal.

Was a female officer, yelled taser and grabbed her gun instead.

If there was a real investigation, we'd find out she was likely hired over dozens of more qualified white male candidates. If you watch the body cam footage, it's clear the suspect was able to break loose after she attempted to help restrain the suspect. The suspect then correctly realized he could break free and did. She if far too stupid, impulsive, and weak to ever be allowed to have control or arrest power over another person.

Daunte "I got warrants" Wright is almost certainly a piece of trash and the world is better off without him. If that police force had less diversity, he'd still be alive. Nothing of value has been lost in this incident. Hopefully a worthless cop with be taken off the street and the taxpayers have been saved from multiple attempts to rehabilitate a criminal. For once this multi-cultural hellscape has brought down some of its own creations.

Why would she shoot a Taser at a fleeing car?

was a female officer

Oh.

I rewatched the video, and it looks like she has her gun out, and says "I'm going to tase him", shoots, then yells taser three times, and possibly shoots again. I would like to deal with a female cop as much as I would like to have a black doctor or chef.

I thought you were trolling until I saw the news. The future is female.
