I feel like the distinction between the national guard and the army is a distinction without a difference.
My bigger issue is the national guard and/or army is only supposed to be deployed in an emergency or disaster scenario. People being mad at Biden steeling the election isn't an emergency. What is currently happening at the border right now pretty much is.
