I mean, I'm not a fan of the current kiked-up mortgage and property "ownership" system, but yeah, "renters rights" being held up as a shield against eviction in the face of delinquency? Lol.

How about all these people that lost their livelihoods because of the jewflu either find a job in a career that is actually vital to society where people didn't get laid off. Or they go shoot the bureaucrats who did all the livelihood destroying. But no, it's all their landlord's fault.

I couldnt pay rent once, I knew they would get the sheriff, but all they had to do was say no when I asked for leniency, and they did and I felt it was unfair ....so you know what I did?

I packed my shit and got off their property. I couldnt pay, the reasons were shitty, but they were mine. I left and they damn near killed me with the dishonest accounting in collections, which I also disagreed with, but I paid it once I could.

Not once since then have I fucked up that badly. Not once, imagine that.

I expect to purchase a real home and approach actual land ownership (such as it is) in the next year.

I often say: "The thing about the bottom of the barrel is, if you hit it hard enough.... you'll bounce!"

For the record, I ended up in that situation because I quit a (bad) job on an impulse, as a moral imperative, and chased my dream gig, and I timed it so fucking poorly that I screwed myself into the ground a bit. Totally my fault, and I always knew that. However, now I have that job in reality, do MUCH better than I did before. I have what I sought, scars and all. Worth it.

Funny how liberal pieces of shit are all over banning evictions, but none of them are all over stopping banks from foreclosing on landlords who can't pay their mortgages because renters aren't paying rent. Where's the relief from property taxes for landlords who can't pay because tenants aren't paying? Uh huh.

I had to voluntarily leave my jew landlord apartment (he was actually a decent jew -- he gave me my deposit back without argument minus $40 for cleaning) because I couldn't pay the rent any longer.

Landlords should not have to be punished because of the jooflu.

Anyway, I moved into my brother's house. I am the basement troll. It is awesome. I got a high-paying job, and I pay close to nothing now (especially nothing to the jews)! And my brother enjoys me being in the house. Win win win!

Not yet having OVER A YEAR'S WORTH of living expenses saved just in case the government effectively makes it illegal for you to evict your tenants that have stopped paying their rent while you still have to pay the bank every month does NOT necessarily mean one has pissed away their money on pointless rubbish.

I do agree that borrowing money to "make" money is often a losing game though. But still, have some compassion for the people losing everything.

I agree we should not be evicting people or reposessing peoples cars right now in my opinion. The landlords who owe money to the banks should also be given leniency so the banks have to just accept losses until the government declares the pandemic over. The banks are still going to turn a profit every year like they always do. It's bullshit to evict people right now while all this official propaganda is coming out of the Whitehouse that we are in a pandemic. If it it's truly a pandemic then the banks need to pause their profits so we can try to, you know... Survive a fucking pandemic.

You can't have it both ways.... Pretend it's a pandemic but be a hard ass and tell people to risk their lives for min wage? No. Fuck that. Looks like a ploy to bait landlords into evicting and then the federal government heaps tens of thousands of dollars of fines and jail time on the landlords. Guess who is waiting to snap up the rental property when the landlords are financially ruined? Individual ownership of property is not the communist way.
