United training 5,000 pilots by 2030, half being women, people of color
Affirmative action pilots.
Yeah, I'm in a family that has a legacy carrier pilot with a 30+ career. The stories he tells about what's going on these days with this race/gender bullshit within the airline industry are scary. Personally, I'll never fly again for MANY reasons, but the idea that you might get a mentally unstable tranny at the helm, welp, that's quite enough for me.
As a pilot this scares the crap out of me. We have enough problems with poorly trained capable people without introducing badly trained incapable people.
Like everything else they will reduce the training or standards until these people pass the grade.

Already being done, unfortunately.
