No the NEA and it's members are Commies. Many teachers are opposed to everything they stand for, like me.
I was calling the NEA the "gestapo" in the 1990's and trying to warn everyone that they better watch what the schools are insisting we teach their children.
When I taught Global warming, I also told my class that the people pushing this changed the name to Climate Change b/c there wasn't enough warming. I showed them how the climate has changed forever, and how the people in charge aren't scientists are even HS graduates.
I figured if they force ME to teach it, then I'm going give it to my student's straight.
