Doesn't matter. They're in the process of throwing Chauvin under the bus. Despite the restraint used being part of their training, an MPD official testified today, under oath, that his restraint "violated the department's Use Of Force policy."
His guilt has been assumed from the beginning, and this is just a show-trial to placate the masses. But the masses, being niggers, will riot no matter the outcome. A Category 5 Chimpout is imminent.
Then on what basis do you say it was SOP? His lawyer should be making that point
Hopefully he does when it comes time for the defense to present their case. But I also wouldn't rule out his lawyer being in bed with the prosecution, ala Charlottesville (Fields' public defender was a former prosecutor).
I'd be shocked if Chauvin has a private defender. Could still be a setup though.
