Worked for years in finance. Did you know credit increases when home or auto loans are prevalent? They also hate more than 10% credit card usage.

Hi dirk! Important question. I've never used credit in my life but I can't get a card because of medical defaults. Is it worth getting started with Down payment credit cards? I forget what they're called. Basically I pay $200 up front and I can only borrow that amount. Seems fair. Is this a good way to get built back up?
