Why would there even be doubt that a service like this is not a right?!
Think of the implications in case of a verdict for the plaintiff; you could possibly demand whatever from whomever, in their field of craftmanship of course.

Exactly right. One of the things that pisses me off is that it’s not protected in reverse. I don’t remember the whole story, or who did it, but a well known pundit went to a Muslim bakery and asked for a Christian cake. He was all but chased from the store. But this latest charade against Jack Phillips is a set up pure and simple. And the gutless SCOTUS set him up.
On the other hand, a jewish bakery would probably sell whatever to whomever, even a "Hitler did nothing wrong"-cake, for the shekels..
