Well, realistically corporate taxes aren't taxes on some plutocrat, they're sales taxes. Any costs imposed on a business are passed on to the consumer.
My point exactly. I think that all corporations should be like S-corporations where the profits are passed through as income to the shareholders. Then let them pay the taxes. The main reason to be a C-corp or similar is in fact to lessen taxes. So I'm actually talking about raising taxes on "corporations" just I don't think we should tax them as special entities.
Then that's effectively another capital gains tax. Like... idk if more taxes are really the solution to any of the problems we're facing. Once that money has been taxed the plutocrats decide how it's spent anyhow, and they're always able to arrange things so they're not the ones paying it.

Fair enough. If I did think of something I thought justified taxation I'd probably do it thought pure sales taxes or import taxes on luxury goods.
Not really. Capital gains is tax advantaged and I don't see why it should be. At least not in the current state of affairs.
I agree that overall government funding should go down. Seems like that could be arranged. I'd start with the wars for Israel budget. Just buy everyone in America an AR-15 and we should be fine defending our own territory against the canuck threat.
