Are you talking about the Polish cavalry charging German tanks? One, they didn't charge. Two, they won over half the engagements of cavalry versus German tanks.

I will say, Panzer I's and II's were weak vehicles. Best they could do was repel MG fire and light cannon fire. Panzer III's and IV's were the scary ones, but during the invasion of Poland there weren't all that many of them.
