The real tradegy here is that after a year of this ongoing disaster, this the closest thing we've gotten to a public debate on this mask shit.
The only reason that there are these "new variants" is because of the insane lengths the world has gone to in order to suppress the First Wave of the virus. There is a concept called "Immune Escape" that comes into play here. Take a look at any chart showing either infection cases or deaths spread out between March 2020 and today, and you'll see that the Second Wave, which peaked in December 2020, was much much larger than the First Wave, in both volume and in peak. That is not normally how a pandemic plays out.
What happened is, we took a population that was exposed to high infectious pressure and we applied prophylactic measures to contain it. That gave the virus the time and opportunity to produce variants through mutations in the virus' receptor-binding domain that would not have existed had we allowed the First Wave to burn out faster.
And now we are using a prophylactic "vaccine" on a world population that is still exposed to high infectious pressure. This is how you almost guarantee that Immune Escape will spawn a slew of resistant variants.
Flattening the Curve was smart. Everything beyond that was stupid and shortsighted. This has been one vast medical experiment conducted upon an unwilling global human population. If I was some sort of crackpot, I would see this as almost certain proof that the people in charge of implementing and maintaining these policies are not themselves human, since they themselves will be just as exposed to the superbugs being created by these policies as anyone else will be.
