I'm not sure about this, by 7 the nogess might be on the verge of emerging as a full feral pavement ape.

That awful-but-insightful book, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, explained that niglets become sexually active at younger ages than Whites. Childhood for them ends far sooner.

Though the book was also written to help normalize pedophilia (Maya Angelou claims in the book that she experienced it first-hand and was a fan of it) so that's a slight disclaimer FWIW.

I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings

Ah, another insightful book to add to my list!

The first in a seven-volume series, it is a coming-of-age story that illustrates how strength of character and a love of literature can help overcome racism and trauma.

Nevermind.

Seven-volume series? I wonder what else she could have left to yak about, as her whole life was in the first one, from when she was palling around with a pedo, to when she started her preteen "sex cult", to when she tried to get jobs for which she was unqualified and then tried to claim that it was racist that no one would hire her for them.

The book even had some accidental levity as the book recounts how she was an "exotic dancer", and every printing of the book that I've seen comes with a picture of Maya Angelou.
