I'm not sure about this, by 7 the nogess might be on the verge of emerging as a full feral pavement ape. That awful-but-insightful book, *I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings*, explained that niglets become sexually active at younger ages than Whites. Childhood for them ends far sooner. Though the book was also written to help normalize pedophilia (Maya Angelou claims in the book that she experienced it first-hand and was a fan of it) so that's a slight disclaimer FWIW.
