I live in a blue state and have never worn a mask in a grocery store, but I do live in a small rural area, so that helps. It takes me 20 minutes to get to a grocery store. Nobody has ever asked me to wear a mask and I've only had a few dirty looks.

I mean that kinda explains it then, because there are no blue states.. Only blue cities. You most likely live in a red or conservative area if its rural.
