Facebook tells everyone they have to show they're a culture fit. IDK exactly what that means, but she's not being singled out. Normally, those are the only sorts of tests I fail, so I think Faceberg is right out for me. I used to recruit a bit. People would come to me all the time at job fairs asking if I had jobs for PhDs. At first, I didn't get it. I'd say: Can you code? Sure we hire people to do that. I thought maybe they wanted more money for the education in lieu of experience. Doable -- if you can code well enough to earn your pay. After a bit, it dawned on me they were asking for something else. It turns out they wanted to pad their resumes and get paid to research or something. Yeah, I can imagine it being hard to get a job coding "whatever you want." I didn't have any of those positions.
