These people can figure out test questions but you drop them in any environment they're not familiar with and they're entirely worthless.
That and to join you have to pay a yearly fee for the "privilege" of hanging out with them.

I wanted to join either them, or a less famous more selective organization, and was horrified at the socially awkward collection of social misfits. Many of my genius friends are "way out there" but they are productive and have income.
These mensa people seemed closer to idiot savants. An tall masculine tranny there also gave me the creeps.
IQ is real, and mensa is indeed the top 1 or 2% of IQ as a barrier, (not too high), but some groups tend to collect social misfits.
