I agree. I fled from them in horror once. Mensa is real, and not a fraud, its just that it only retains undesirable people. I wanted to join either them, or a less famous more selective organization, and was horrified at the socially awkward collection of social misfits. Many of my genius friends are "way out there" but they are productive and have income. These mensa people seemed closer to idiot savants. An tall masculine tranny there also gave me the creeps. IQ is real, and mensa is indeed the top 1 or 2% of IQ as a barrier, (not too high), but some groups tend to collect social misfits.
