The irony of Bill Gates — who lives in a 66,000-square-foot mansion and travels in a private jet that uses up 486 gallons of fuel every hour16 — talking about how to save the environment isn’t lost on everyone.

Gates is attempting a coup of America by buying it. He's "following the rules." And he's taking it over little by little. His story about global climate change is a weak excuse, but it's the best he can come up with. Given America's constituents, it probably is a good enough excuse.

He is the biggest farmland owner in the USA, next he will be shutting the cattle farms and turning them into soya or insect farms for his meat product. He has a bright future to look forward to at every one elses expense.

Fake meat aside, considering Obama changed the laws about identifying where meat comes from, I'm surprised anyone even eats it anymore unless they're getting it from sellers who are supplying locally sourced meat. Regarding fake meat, I wouldn't trust that shit either.

I remember years ago, when I still thought he was just a smart guy. (I was stupid then). He talked about fake meats and how it was much easier to scale in production, compared to real meats.

He said something similar to this: «You can only have so many cows before you get problems with contamination and animal rights groups» and «fake meat is made industrially and production can be scaled prectically indefinitely»

I thought that was a reasonable argument, and a fair way to «outcompete» the mest industry by just producing cheaper «meats».

Little did I know his plan was not to make fake meat cheaper. He was going to make real meat more expensive.

Making, selling, and eating the fakes is fine. What I hate is how (((they))) rig the system to force everyone to their way.

If there was any honesty you would compete on price, health, quality whatever to get the customers. Not by forcing you to chose between bugs and extruder «meats».
