A while back I was on a subway car that was empty but me and three trash bags in an American city. The trash bags got visibly uncomfortable and upset at a man on the car with them. There were no separate cars and they didn't like a man on the car. I did nothing but sat there, occasionally looking back at them.
They were full burqa for no fucking reason and upset that I was ignoring them. Apparently they got so upset they missed their stop and had no idea what train to take next. None of the trash bags would talk to me or even look at me (maybe they did, I can't see through trash bags). They just expected that their visible discomfort and ululating would be enough to get me off the train.
You should have pretended to be Jewish to really freak the trash bags out.
