that's some tricky language about "the state must compensate" the plaintiff. "made whole" should be language, because as i see it, the district could give her a thousand bucks and claim she is compensated. but my bet is that they refuse to give one red cent and wish to see her in the fucking poorhouse because the only one making any money is the lawyer.
