I find it amusing that they bought it in the first place. It's been apparent for some time that traditional cable-type services aren't the guaranteed cash cow they used to be.

They were trying to transfer DirecTV customers into their online streaming TV services.

Satellite TV is dead and they aren't putting up new satellites.

Odd, but who needs streaming video services if you have good internet access?

Especially with Starlink around the corner.

Let's see how that pans out.

That's a LOT of low altitude satellites to put up and keep running...
