Technical the current genetic peoples of Ireland are vastly watered down versions of the original Irish area people from 4 thousand years ago that ruled over Egypt and other regions.

See geologic and climate studies confirming they are built when rain was common and they survived a great flood. Which we know ended roughly 11,800 years ago.
