Prices are plummeting in CA. Real-estate prices depend on demand. CA population isn't growing.

I'm kinda grateful for jacked up real estate prices. My $100k investment 7 years ago is worth $250k now. my savings isn't making shit. being on the wrong end of -$$ sucks for all of us. but being on the +$$ side feels justified. You will someday be on the +$$ , wait for it .
Doesn't TX have really high property taxes though? Or was it really low property taxes.. Now I can't remember, but I recall hearing something specifically unique about TX property tax.
