Exactly- pot may not induce the horrible physical withdrawal symptoms of, say, opiates like heroin or oxycodone, but potheads just can't seem to stop. Seems like a mental thing mostly, but I have seen potheads trying to get jobs that quit smoking and they can't sleep or eat for like 3 months.
And for what? Pot doesn't send you into a divine euphoric state like heroin or cocaine might. It just relaxes a person, alters their manner of thought, slows them and the world around them down... and then 4 hours later it's gone.
That's what this mother decided was worth risking losing her daughter to a vicious child molester for. Thanks, mom!

I don't know. When I used to smoke weed when I was younger I ran out one day and never bought any more without trying. Tobacco was way worse to quit. Easy to get into a habit though I guess.
